Welcome!
I’m a freelance journalist and editor, specializing in taking complex subjects and turning them into gripping reading. I’ve written more than 40 stories for The New York Times and served as editor at the Center on Law and Security at the NYU Law School.
I have an MS from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a law degree from Emory University.
I’m also a marathon runner, and spent 10 years volunteering with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, where I was flotilla commander in Tarrytown, NY. That’s me with my husband Brad in the pic (he’s the one with the awesome glasses).
